CALL FOR PAPERS — VOLUME 2 | CONTINUOUS PUBLICATION
REALLE – Journal of Applied Studies in Foreign Languages and Literatures announces that submissions are open for Continuous Publication.
REALLE's editorial policy accepts manuscript submissions through two complementary publication streams (Continuous Publication and Semiannual Thematic Dossiers) in the following sections:
Scientific Articles
Original and unpublished works resulting from completed or ongoing research that make a significant contribution to applied studies in foreign languages and literatures and related fields. A length of 15 to 20 pages is recommended.
Critical reviews of books, literary works, teaching materials, translations, educational resources, and other academic publications relevant to the field. In the case of translation reviews, an analysis of the textual and paratextual elements of the translated work is expected, including the cover, preface, introduction, editorial notes, and translator's notes. The inclusion of information about the translator's academic and professional background is recommended. Translation reviews may contain up to 8,000 words.
This section is intended for the publication of original, previously unpublished interviews conducted with researchers, writers, translators, educators, and other professionals who have made recognized contributions to linguistic, literary, cultural, and educational studies related to foreign languages. Interviews must address topics of scientific and academic interest aligned with the journal's focus and scope and should preferably contain between 6 and 12 questions and answers, with a maximum length of 20 pages.
As part of REALLE's editorial innovation policy, interviews will be published in a format integrating both a written and an audio version. The written version will constitute the official record of the scholarly publication, while the audio version will serve as supplementary material for science communication and accessibility and will be made available on a podcast platform designated by the journal. The audio content may be accessed through a hyperlink or QR code incorporated into the written publication.
For submission, interviews must be accompanied by: a digital audio file of suitable technical quality for publication; an authorization document for the publication and dissemination of the interview, signed by the interviewee in accordance with the template provided by the journal; and a brief biographical profile of the interviewee highlighting their academic and professional background. Submission of an interview implies authorization for the publication of both the written and audio versions through the official channels of EALE and REALLE, without payment of fees or royalties for copyright, image rights, or any similar rights.
