In this work, we sought to reflect on the possibility of teachers as authors, the developers of their analog games from continuing education, aiming to achieve specific learning objectives in which they are part of their planning and their realities in the classroom. The question that guided the investigation was: to what extent can the elaboration of games enable the learning of geographic content and concepts? In this sense, some ways for the research were established. The first device was the bibliographic research, followed by continuous training through a pedagogical workshop with a group of geography teachers from the last years of the primary school of the Municipal Education Network of Jacobina - Bahia; secondly, the use of a form/questionnaire with the workshop workers; finally, the analysis of the activities and the answers of these teachers. The main results show that teachers can be authors of their geographical games, but these professionals must have enough time and resources for such a task.
