This work aims to reflect on accessible tourism in urban parks based on the experience of the accessible trail in
the Rodrigues Alves Forest in Belém, Pará. The proposal for formulating an accessible trail was developed from
a qualitative, descriptive-reflective approach, with support from the National Tourism Qualification Platform. The
methodology is based on a literature review and document analysis on accessibility and tourism, which provides theoretical consistency to the proposal. In the second stage, a field visit was carried out in which the accessible
trail in the Forest was implemented with students from the University Accessibility Project. The results highlight
the relevance of accessible tourism in the context of the urban park, emphasizing the importance of promoting
inclusive visitation experiences capable of serving different audiences, especially people with disabilities or
reduced mobility. Thus, this work contributes to the advancement of more inclusive practices in tourism,
reinforcing the role of accessibility in improving the tourist experience and democratizing access to urban parks.
