The book, Heroines Negras Brasileiras, 15 cordets, by the poet, and cordelista Searense Jarid Arraeis, tells the biography of female and royal in the of cordets, published for first time in 2017, showing the strength and courage of these women who are part of the history of our country. One of is the Aqualtune an African who led an army in one of the kingdoms of the Congo, in the of the war between the peoples of that region, but who ended up being captured in her country and sold as a slave the reproducer in the 16th century.Arriving in Brazil, she was victim of several abuses, but of many children who could even feed themselves, however, was only a woman who gestated, but a warrior who generated courage and strength. In this way, managed to a escape for one the Quilombos, despite being pregnant in a state of advanced gestation. Arriving there, was recognized as a princess who was, becoming an important leader within the Quilombos. Her contributions opened doors to the slave struggle for freedom anthat were taken from them. this context, present work has the objective to this new place, this new literary and non-fiction as not even narrated in prose in third person by a narrator who does participate in the facts that count, bringing the focus to the Aqualtune, a symbol of struggle against the innumerable prejudices that cross women, especially black.
